“I want to congratulate my players with a good team victory! This win makes me happy because that was undoubtedly our best performance defensively so far that helped us to beat really strong opponent. Tonight we received only 60 points from the team that previously was averaging 106 points. We were able to cut the number of points scored by Bakken Bears to 60 points due to our great defense. Of course, sometimes we made some child mistakes in the offense. But generally we are on the right way to play basketball that we want us to play. We received great energy and efforts from all the players to win the game and I’m satisfied with how all the players contributed to the victory. Our defense gave us some confidence and we changed our rhythm in offense in the early beginning of the last quarter making a crucial 11-0 run. Some players from the bench also brought us new energy. It’s very important win for us to stay on the top position in the group and to make a big step towards the next round of the FIBA Europe Cup. I think that 11-point handicape is not a guarantee for us before the road game at Bakken Bears and we should show almost the same basketball in Denmark if we want to beat them. I also would like to thank our fans for their incredible support tonight.”
