“VEF obviously showed more energy. They were more focused and motivated to win. I was really surprised with the situation in our team. We need to have some really tough changes here but it needs time. For me it’s impossible to understand and accept how someone of us could have less energy playing at home than the visiting team players. We must change everything here towards the attitude. Now we will get two weeks before the next game and we will need to use this pause to improve ourselves. Once again, I would like to thank the audience and fans for their support especially in the crucial moments. For sure I must apologize for them because we didn’t meet their expectations tonight. Missing the last shot is just a part of the game. Sometimes you score, sometimes you don’t. This is basketball. Golden had good opportunity to take the open three-point shot but unfortunately he missed. The problem was actually not in the last shot itself. The problem was everything before that.”
