“This will be my first game in the VTB League as the head coach of Avtodor and I’m trying to make some good changes with our team. Of course, we didn’t have enough time so far but the guys received positive energy and positive feedback from the last game. I hope we will continue in this way because after VEF we will get two weeks before the next game to put the completely new system for these guys. The Latvian club defeated Kalev in their last game of the national league. So they came in Saratov probably having more confidence. VEF has Grazulis in their roster who is really good at the position four. There is also a very talented point guard Durham who is playing a lot with the ball. We must try to continue improving our defense. These are the main things we should focus on in order to win.”
