“Bakken Bears is a team who participated in the Basketball Champions League last season and won the 2016–17 Danish championship. One great coach said once: "Never underestimate the champion”. That's what we have to do. As a team we are working better and our conditions are getting better as well. However, it's going to be a tough game and we will need the fans support to make it.
They have 6 "imports" and players with international experience. We can't make mistakes in the first home game of FIBA Europe Cup even we know it will be a tough game. Bakken Bears can run, shoot and give different defensive looks. So the key for us will be the concentration and the ability to make stops and run like we did on Saturday [in the home game against Enisey]. We hope to continue in this really good path because the guys are looking good and willing to build a big season.”
