“I think we responded really well coming off from a tough loss in Italy. We worked on a few things during the practices and got some rest we all needed. That was our first game of the long VTB League season. We knew Enisey arrived in Saratov after a good road win in Germany and expected it’s going to be tough. Tonight we played very unselfish in the first three quarters. In the last 10 minutes we were a little bit relaxed and made some bad shots. Everyone did a good job tonight, everyone scored points. Enisey took the sixth place in the VTB League last season. They have some really good players in their roster like Anthony Hilliard who was my teammate some years ago. This win undoubtedly brings us a confidence. On Wednesday we will host Bakken Bears, the champion of Denmark. We are excited to start in the FIBA Europe Cup and we will keep going to play a very good basketball.”
