Andrea MAZZON
Avtodor head coach:
“In the first game in Saratov we were showing 28 starting minutes of a really good play. But after that Orlandina scored almost every shot and we missed many easy baskets, open shots and free throws. In the second half we could not run as well like we did in the first two periods because our defense was not effective as we were demonstrating before.
I also feel we were tired after so many games and trips (remark from the press office: Avtodor has played 5 official games in 11 gays) and I really hope my players will be able to regroup and find the energy to make this crucial step. We know we'll face a sold-out gym in Italy but no matter what our job is the same, trying to play hard, to grab the win and advance to the Basketball Champions League Regular Season. As a head coach I'm really confident in my players and I hope the little injuries of Morris and Downs they have had will be an old story.”
