“I’m very proud of our players. They tried to play on 100%. That was not easy. We started the game very well and put its flow in the direction that was very profitable for us. We shooted the ball with high percentage in the first half and got a lot of confidence out of that. I see the Russian players are getting better day by day and I’m happy to observe their improvement. We gained the win without two players who are really important for us like Downs and Morris. Earvin’s performance was very well tonight as he scored 10 points for 10 minutes. All the other guys did their best.

Now we only need to find energy and try to be fresh in the home game against Orlandina Basket. Of course we will come in Saratov after so many games and so many trips. However, I hope the guys will make the last efforts to complete the mission. They just need to push themselves over the limit and keep continue to play like they did it tonight. I want to thank them because they are improving and also support me. I know I’m not an easy coach and not an easy person but I’m satisfied with the work I did. After all it was nice for me to see them happy after the game and to qualify in the final games of the BCL Qualification Rounds. Here will be all about being a little bit lucky, keeping concentration and cutting mistakes.”
