“I’ve been here in Saratov a little bit more than a week while the guys are practicing about two weeks. It’s too early to draw any conclusions as we need to know each other better. We still learn plays. We don’t have everything 100%. I think once everybody knows the plays and when we get to know each other we will be very good. We need to get better in one-on-one defense, team defense, rebounding defense, boxing-out the opponents. We are going to have six friendly games before the first official game in Cyprus. That’s enough time to get everything right.

For sure tonight we played better than in our first game in Samara. Before that trip I’ve been with the team in Russia only for three days. Having one more week between the games is a little bit better but as I said now we are not still playing on 100%. However, we keep going to prepare and I’m certain the season will be great for us.”
