Avtodor Will Start BCL From Qualification Round

The Board of Basketball Champions League has announced the aprroved list of participants for the 2017-2018 season. Avtodor will start playing in the competition from Qualification Round 1 to tip-off on 19th September 2017.


56 teams are going to take part in the 2017-2018 Basketball Champions League including 21 current national champions. Russia will be represented in the competition by Avtodor Saratov, Enisey Krasnoyarks region and BC Nizhny Novgorod.

Avtodor is required to win three (3) Qualification Rounds in order to advance to the BCL Regular Season that is going to start on 10th October 2017. Our opponents in the first Qualification Round will be one of the following teams:

The winner of each Qualification round's pair will be determined by the sum of points in two games (home and away). The games of the first round are to be played on 19th and 21st September 2017, second round - 24th and 26th September, third round - 29th September and 2nd October 2017. The Draw of the Basketball Champions League Qualification rounds and Regular season will be held on Tuesday, 11th July 2017, in the House of Basketball in Switzerland.
