Tomislav ZUBCIC is a talented frontcourt player who has good mid-range and long-range shooting and passing skills. Avtodor newcomer is the Croatian champion (5 times), Croatian Cup winner (3 times), the All-Croatian and Lithuanian Star Games participant, U19 World Championship and U18 European Championship bronze medalist.

Zubcic have already had an experience of participation in the VTB United League as he played for BC Lietuvos Rytas in the second half of the 2012-13 season. In the 2014-15 season he won the Croatian championship, Croatian Cup and advanced to the Adriatic league final with Cedevita Zagreb, the strongest Croatian team. Last season the Avtodor newcomer also started with Cedevita. His average statistics were 9.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.0 steals for 22.1 minutes played in Euroleague and 8.0 points and 6.7 rebounds for 23.1 minutes in Adriatic league. In the middle of the season the basketballer moved to the USA as he joined to Oklahoma City Blue, affiliate team of the NBA club Oklahoma City Thunder. He played 36 games in the NBA D-league scoring 7.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists for 19.7 minutes played average per game.

In June 2012 Zubcic was drafted by Toronto Raptors in the second round of the NBA Draft. In summer 2015 he was drafted to Oklahoma City Thunder. The Croatian forward participated in five games of the 2016 NBA Summer League in Orlando where he had 6.4 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists for 13.8 minutes played average per game.

The medical test in Saratov has been assigned on Monday, 3rd October. In case of positive result Tomislav Zubcic will join to Avtodor immediately and be ready to help his new team already in the first home game against BC Nizhny Novgorod.
