The American guard Scottie Reynolds has joined to the squad already in Latvia. He is going to pass a medical test tonight. Thereby, 11 basketball players will take part in the practice camp under the management of Nikolajs Mazurs and Vladislav Konovalov:
Guards: Evgenii Kolesnikov, Pavel Koltsov, Scottie Reynolds, Branden Frazier;
Forwards: Anton Astapkovich, Michael Carrera, Nick Minnerath, Andrei Piterov, Agasiy Tonoyan;
Centres: Alan Makiev, Yurii Trubin.

Artem Zabelin stays in Saratov to continue his recovery due to the foot injury. Artem Klimenko and Maxim Kolyushkin involved in the Russia Men's National Team are going to be at the club's disposal immediately as they finished their participation for the senior national squad. Avtodor forward Vadim ABDEEV has left for a long period due to the rupture of crucial ligaments of the left knee during the practice. Viktor Kashin is loaned for the upcoming season by Kupol Rodniki Izhevsk, the Russian Superleague-1 club. Finally, Avtodor left with the guard Denis Velichkin not having reached the commitment to prolong the contract.

Seven friendly games are to be held during the practice camp. Avtodor will play its first game already on Wednesday, 7th September, in Bauska, native city of Mazurs, against Lietkabelis Panevezys, the Baltic League 3rd placed team and the 2016-17 Eurocup participant from Lithuania having Darius and Ksystof Lavrinovics in the roster. The team is going to come back in Saratov on Sunday, 25th September, where they will have the final part of the pre-season preparation.
