The following Russian basketballers began to practice in Sports Palace Zvezdnyy under the management of the coaches Nikolays Mazurs and Vladislav Konovalov:

forwards: Vadim Abdeev, Anton Astapkovich, Denis Pavlenko, Andrey Piterov, Agasiy Tonoyan;
centres: Artem Zabelin, Alan Makiev and Yuri Trubin.
The American players Nick Minnerath and Branden Fraizer will join to the first practice camp in the middle of August. One more American newcomer of Avtodor Josh Adams will come to Saratov later due to the working visa process. Artem Klimenko and Maxim Kolyushkin are going to arrive at the disposal of the club immediately after finishing their participation for the Russian Men's National Team.
The practices in Saratov will continue until the beginning of September. After that, the team will go to Latvia to have the second practice camp. The final schedules of the Avtodor pre-season preparation and friendly games will be published at the website later. Now the participation of Avtodor in Garastas Cup to be held from 16 to 18 September in Klaipeda (Lithuania) has been officially confirmed:

In the upcoming season, Avtodor will participate in the VTB United League championship and the Basketball Champions League. The opening official game is to be played in the beginning of October.
