Avtodor Couldn't Stop The Galloping Horces
Unusual low three-point shooting percentage by the hosts (24%) and a missed spurt of 15 unanswered points from CSKA in the end of the first quarter and in the beginning of the second quarter allowed CSKA Moscow to make a run and finally to get a 22-points leading in the debut of the last quarter. However, the white-black team was able to cut the difference to 6 or 7 points in the showdown against one of the best European team, but no more. Paul Stoll was Avtodor Saratov top scorer with 21 points (4 threes of 7 attempts).
