«It was really difficult, very physical and competitive game. We had moments when we led by ten points. But then the visitors scored three-point shots or gained an offensive rebound allowing them to come back into the game. Toolson had an amazing night. He made a couple of easy open shots, but the most of his successful shots were attempted through the hands of our players including big ones. We need to give him credit for some great baskets. Dowdell made some good drives late in the game. We did some good things. I am really proud of how my guys played tonight. I think we will get better. I am encouraged by how we played but very disappointed to lose.
Our opponents’ pressure, their smooth running in offense allowed them to win. They were aggressive and fouled a lot. We need to continue having more spread around the basket.
Artem Klimenko had a very good game today. We are going to keep working with him because he has a potential to get better and better, he is still young player. Of course, we need our centers to rebound the ball better and to gain more rebounds. Our guard Jeremy Chappell and our small forward Jeffrey Brooks made 7 defensive rebounds each. But this should be a primary responsibility of our big players. We need to become better in more areas and work on them.
Malcolm Armstead is trying to play but he doesn’t have the same quickness and speed he had in the first two games. The heel still bothers him. Hopefully he will recover during some days off, but he was playing injured last two games. Another playmayker Denys Lukashov played very well tonight that is encouraging».

«I think we need to play better defense. Ryan Toolson is a very good player shooting the ball very well tonight. This was not a good thing we allowed our opponents to score 90 points in our home game. This was the key of our loss. We need to improve and continue playing better defensively both in Eurocup and the VTB League in order to win the games. Defense is the way how good teams winning basketball games. We should work on it before our next game against Euroleague participant Lokomotiv Kuban».
