American forward Travis PETERSON has been named as the team’s captain according to the decision made jointly by the coaching staff and the club's management. Avtodor Saratov alumni Artem ZABELIN will act as a vice-captain.

The upcoming season for Avtodor Saratov is to be the second in a row for Travis Peterson. It should be noted that he has already had captaining experience in the foreign team when he led his teammates in the Ukrainian club Hoverla from 2012 to 2014. However, by the words of Avtodor Saratov Head Coach Brad Greenberg, «Travis was selected as a captain on his merits here».
