Six groups of six teams each will be formed at the Draw. The 36 teams qualified for the Eurocup Regular Season will be divided into two geographical conferences of 18 teams each, and the teams in each conference will be divided into six seeds with three teams in each. The performance of teams in European competitions during a three year period will be used. Avtodor Saratov will be in the 4th seed of the Conference 2 of Eurocup together with Buducnost VOLI Podgorica, the bronze medalist of Adriatic League, and Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem, the Israeli champion. Thereby, the club from Saratov will avoid playing against these opponents at the first group stage.

The other seeds in Conference 2 have been formed as follows:

1st seeds: UNICS Kazan (Russia), Galatasaray Istanbul (Turkey), Besiktas Integral Forex Istanbul (Turkey).

2nd seeds: Banvit Bandirma (Turkey), Nizhny Novgorod (Russia), Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius (Lithuania).

3rd seeds: Trabzonspor Medical Park (Trabzon, Turkey), Zenit St. Petersburg (Russia), Krasny Oktyabr Volgograd (Russia).

4th seeds: Avtodor Saratov (Russia), Buducnost VOLI Podgorica (Montenegro), Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem (Israel).

5th seeds: PAOK Thessaloniki (Greece), Aris Thessaloniki (Greece), AEK Athens (Greece).

6th seeds: Neptunas Klaipeda (Lithuania), Steaua CSM EximBank Bucharest, Szolnoki Olaj (Hungary).

According to the restrictions established when drawing the teams into groups, two teams from the same country cannot coincide in the same group until it is physically impossible to apply this restriction. Therefore, Avtodor Saratov will be the same group with one of the four other Russian teams in any case.
