The Russian Men's Student National Team played two friendly games on Friday and Saturday in Trier (GER) against Germany within the framework of preparation to the XXVIII World Summer Universiade to be held from 4th to 14th July 2015 in Kwangju (Rupublic Korea). The Russians lost to the host side by 65:69 (18:17, 22:24, 10:15, 15:13) and 75:89 (20:23, 20:20, 16:24, 19:22).

BC Avtodor Saratov centre Artem KLIMENKO could hit his stride in both games. He played 14:33 minutes in the first game where he scored 8 points (3 of 3 from 2-point shots and 2 of 2 from the free-throw line) and gained 2 rebounds becoming one of four top scorers in the Russian Student National Team. Today Klimenko was included in the starting five and became the top scorer of the team scoring 23 points (8 of 9 from 2-point shots) and having 4 rebounds and 8 fouls drawn for 17:06 minutes.

Tomorrow the Russian Men's Student Team will be back to Moscow. They are going to fly to Republic Korea to participate in the friendly tournament already on Monday.
