Brad Greenberg worked as a Head Coach of Eskişehir Basket in Turkish Basketball League since January 2015. Before his Turkish experience, he has had an extensive and globe-spanning career in basketball.
Prior to his work in Turkey, Brad returned to the United States in the summer of 2014 following three immensely successful seasons overseas, during which he took three teams to the top of their leagues, even winning a national championship along the way.
In 2013-2014, Greenberg took over Hapoel Jerusalem, a team with a losing record the previous season and led them to a 21-7 regular season record, second only to eventual Euroleague champion Maccabi Tel Aviv’s 22-6. Apart from delivering Maccabi Tel Aviv their worst home loss in club history, Hapoel Jerusalem also advanced to the Final 8 in Eurocup competition and achieved a Final Eurobasket Top 100 ranking of #28.
From 2012-2013, Greenberg led Maccabi Haifa, a team that finished last the previous season, to its first championship season by defeating international powerhouse, Maccabi Tel Aviv. He was named Coach of the Year in the Israeli Winner League and Coach of the Year for All Sports by the Israeli Ministry of Israeli Sport in 2012-2013.
Prior to his successes in Israel, Brad spent a year in Venezuela, coaching the Bucaneros De La Guairá of the Liga Professional De Baloncesto, Venezuela to their highest regular season finish in club history. As Assistant Coach of the Venezuelan National Team in 2011 he helped the team finish 5th in the FIBA Americas Championships and qualify for the 2012 FIBA World Olympic Qualifications. In the summer of 2012 as Associate Head Coach of the Venezuelan National Team he helped them to win a Silver Medal in the South American Championships.
Brad spent 12 years in the NBA as assistant coach of the LA Clippers, assistant coach of the New York Knicks, scout and then both Director of Player Personnel and Vice President of Player Personnel of the Portland Trail Blazers and a year as General Manager and Vice President of Basketball Operations of the Philadelphia 76ers where he drafted 1996 Rookie of the Year, Allen Iverson.
He has coached collegiately at American University, St. Joseph’s University, the University of South Florida, Virginia Tech and Radford University. In 2009, he was named both Big South Conference Coach of the year in the Big South Conference and Red Auerbach National Coach of the Year after leading Radford to the 2009 Big South Championship and the NCAA Tournament - executing the biggest team record turnaround in league history.

The club's owner, Vladimir Rodionov, helped to develop a lot of Russian talents in the last decades. This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to coach in a world class league with a club that has serious aspirations. The competition is very fierce but that's part of what makes it so attractive. I'll do everything I can to build on the progress and success from this past season"
