Fesenko came in Avtodor during the season and became the VTB United League breakthrough. He was named the Most Valuable Player in January and finished at the second place on efficiency (20.00), at the third on blocked shots (1.62), as well as the fourth on rebounds (8.85 average per game). Moreover, the Ukrainian centre became the fourth on double doubles – 9. Fesenko played 26 games in the VTB United League where he scored 15.1 points, gained 8.8 rebounds, 1.6 blocked shots for 26.1 minutes average per game. He also player 11 games in the FIBA EuroChallenge scoring 13.3 points and making 10.1 rebounds and 1.5 blocked shots for 25.8 minutes average per game. He became the top player of the competition on rebounds and double doubles (7), as well as the second player of the competition on blocked shots.
