Last season the Ukrainian playmayker played for Budivelnik Kiev and won the Ukrainian Cup, the bronze medals of the Ukrainian Championship and was named the Most Valuable Player of the regular season. In 35 games he scored 15.4 points and made 5.6 assists, 6.3 rebounds and 1.7 steals average per game for 30:14 minutes played. Moreover, Lukashov had the best efficiency in the Ukrainian Championship (22.5).
During three seasons (from 2011 to 2014) he had an experience of playing in the VTB United League for Budivelnik Kiev, BC Donetsk and Azovmash Mariupol. From 2004 to 2009, Lukashov annually participated in the youth European Championships (U16, U18, U20). He won the Ukrainian Championship with Budivelnik in the 2010/2011 season. In 2011 he took part in the EuroBasket in Lithuania. Lukashov has played 18 games for the Ukrainian Men’s National Team, where he scored 6.2 points and made 2.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists average per game. In 2010 and 2011 he was selected in the Ukrainian Superleague All-Star Game twice.
Last season was the most successful in his career. Lukashov became the implicit team leader on all fundamental statistics, such as points scored, assists, rebounds and efficiency. He was notable because of his court vision and excellent shooting percentage. His percentage of the 2-points shots was 59.2%, 3-points shots – 49.3% (the best result in the Ukrainian Championship), free throws – 85%. His bright performance allowed him to become the main candidate for the position of the Ukrainian Men’s National Team playmayker at the upcoming EuroBasket.
