Kolesnikov played for Avtodor for 3 seasons (2015-16, 2016-17 and 2021-22) being the team captain in two of them. In the current VTB United League regular championship, the 36-year-old basketballer played 13 games for Avtodor where his average statistics were 6.7 points (46% three-pointers), 2.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists for 17:17 minutes on the floor. Kolesnikov also averaged 7.3 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.8 assists for 17:18 playing minutes in 11 games of the FIBA Europe Cup.
